A Healthy Boston Lives a Better Life

The Boston Terrier is a wonderful breed — but like all brachycephalic dogs, they are susceptible to specific health challenges. Responsible breeders test for these issues before ever planning a litter. At Graylady’s, we test every dog against the full recommended screening panel before they are ever used in breeding.

All of our health test results are documented, certifiable, and available to prospective puppy buyers. We are happy to walk any family through our dogs’ individual records — transparency is non-negotiable for us.

Annual certification by a board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist, checking for hereditary eye disease.

OFA cardiac clearance conducted by a board-certified veterinary cardiologist.

OFA patella evaluation to screen for luxating patellas — a common concern in smaller breeds.
