A Healthy Boston Lives a Better Life
The Boston Terrier is a wonderful breed — but like all brachycephalic dogs, they are susceptible to specific health challenges. Responsible breeders test for these issues before ever planning a litter. At Graylady’s, we test every dog against the full recommended screening panel before they are ever used in breeding.
All of our health test results are documented, certifiable, and available to prospective puppy buyers. We are happy to walk any family through our dogs’ individual records — transparency is non-negotiable for us.

CAER Eye Exam
Annual certification by a board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist, checking for hereditary eye disease.
BAER Hearing Test
The BAER (Brainstem Auditory Evoked Response) test is used to assess a dog’s hearing and is a reliable way to determine whether a dog is deaf and the extent of hearing loss.
